I mean, I'm probably not the first person who thought of this, but whatever.
I was reading an article about aromatherapy when I thought "why can't I use this in withcraft?"
So, here's my idea. Make a potion according to what you want/need using essential oils and other nice smelling ingredients, put it in a spray bottle, and spray it whenever you need some of the thing you're using the potion for.
E.g., to keep my legacy as "thirsty fuck" alive: A potion with rose essential oil, lavender essential oil, rosemary "tea", and a bit of alcohol. If I need some "oomph" when attempting to flirt, I'll spritz some on my clothes (or maybe in my bedroom hehe) and - ta-da! Magic. Literally.
Okay I might actually try making this.
What do you think? Do you have any additional ideas? I'd love to hear them!

Eh?? Of course you can use aromatherapy in witchcraft. I have before.
Witchcraft contains a lot of things and aromatherapy is one of them. From incense to essential oils to candles. I, personally, have used aromatherapy a LOT. For example, when studying, I’ve lit yellow candles and my lavender candle because of its properties (see candle colour correspondences here) and it helps me focus. Or when taking a bath, I use lavender and light my incense for relaxation and mental clarity. White is purifying in and of itself and I’ve used that plenty of times during rituals. However, I’m not very liberal about it since I have two very curious schnauzers and an old little hammy, but that doesn’t make it any less potent.
I’d suggest reading up on aromatherapy as I have plenty of books (hard copies, not PDFs, but I can try to find them) on it that I’ve used in my craft. Think about it this way: A lot of things not directly related to witchcraft CAN be used in witchcraft.
However, this is a very lovely idea and has indeed been done before. However, I’ve mostly seen these with herbs rather than things for actual aromatherapy. Please do test the waters and let us know how it works out. Just be safe because I don’t really know how I feel about some of the things that’ll be used in the spray. Again, read up on it!!
